Job Overview

At Home Instead, we're seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Care Companions. As a Care Companion, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote mental and physical well-being.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
  • Support clients with mobility issues, helping them with transfers, mobility aids, and other needs.
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with our care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 hour visits to ensure quality time with clients.
  • Competitive hourly rates: £13.20 per hour weekdays and £14.70 per hour weekends.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle and full driving license, as some clients require transportation to appointments.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
