PEOPLE SOLUTIONS - RECRUITING CLASS 2 DRIVER

SALARY: £18 per hour

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Class 2 vehicles. Your role will include:

  • Safely driving Class 2 vehicles
  • Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
  • Ensuring cargo is loaded and secured properly
  • Complying with all traffic laws and regulations
  • Effectively communicating with dispatch and clients
  • Maintaining accurate records of shipments, mileage, and fuel usage
  • Reporting any vehicle issues or maintenance requirements
  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods

QUALIFICATIONS:

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A valid UK Category C Driving License
  • At least 12 months of experience operating Class 2 vehicles
  • A current UK CPC and Digi Card
  • Strong punctuality and time management skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • The capacity to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
