You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to address various safety challenges and identify new opportunities for the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide dose and shielding support to teams addressing safety challenges
  • Develop new opportunities for the team, including technical support to bids
  • Contribute to the enhancement of radiation protection, safety processes, and procedures
  • Support business development activities
  • Occasional travel between offices and clients' sites may be required
Requirements

Total Resourcing Ltd encourages diversity of thought and welcomes applications from candidates with transferable skills. There are no minimum role requirements, and candidates will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

The preferred role requirements are as follows:

  • Relevant degree in a scientific or engineering technical discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in radiation shielding and dose assessment within the nuclear industry
  • Working knowledge of radiation transport-based codes
  • Good level of knowledge in dose and shielding safety assessment
  • Hold a minimum of 'SC' UK Security Clearance, or be willing to obtain
