About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Operations Specialist to join our team at Subsea 7. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in the planning and execution of our projects worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Operations Manager in planning and coordinating project activities, ensuring safe and efficient execution of all agreed activities and scope of work.
  • Coordinate and consolidate inputs from multiple disciplines to support the development of operational planning, including engineering, supply chain management, fabrication, and operations.
  • Define requirements and produce statements of work for third-party vessels and assets chartering/hiring, ensuring adherence to operations department ways of working.
  • Organize and host meetings with disciplines to facilitate offshore schedule review, identify and update key operations-related risks throughout the project.
  • Prepare, review, and comment on technical documents, including procedures, drawings, and schedules.
  • Participate in the definition of the required offshore spread for the project, including construction vessels, support, and transportation vessels.
  • Liaise with supply chain management to select third-party vessels and operations-related services and assets, preparing statements of work and reviewing technical offers.
  • Participate in installation feasibility reviews and HIRAs, providing operational input to engineering and planning, and monitoring the progress of marine assurance on assigned vessels.
  • Ensure that project equipment is mobilized/demobilized in an efficient and timely fashion, supervising material tracking activity through the project's material tracker.
  • Assist in the coordination of logistic support activities, including freight forwarding, shipping, and onshore logistics.
  • Provide input to the Project Operations Debrief Report and lessons learned.
Requirements
  • Experience in offshore operations, having worked on board installation vessels.
  • Solid offshore experience as a field engineer, installation engineer, or logistics professional.
  • A strong work ethic, willing to work in highly changeable environments, meeting tight deadlines while delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Mobility to travel to all international locations for short business trips or missions.
  • Fluent in English, with knowledge of French/Portuguese an advantage.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, with experience with Microsoft Project recommended but not essential.
