PDI Engineer Role

Job Summary

Salary: £34,000 - £37,000

Job Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PDI Engineer to join our team at Rocket Staffing Group Limited. As a PDI Engineer, you will be responsible for completing machine pre-delivery inspections to an agreed specification, recording measurements, and completing documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough machine pre-delivery inspections to ensure compliance with agreed specifications.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of CNC machines, including their operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Continuously review new products and systems, identifying any inherent quality issues and reporting them to management.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical interface work to ensure seamless integration of systems.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a PDI Engineer or in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machines and their operation.
  • Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
