Employment Support Specialist – Enable Works

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Employment Support Specialist. As an Employment Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with barriers to employment to achieve their career goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized support to clients to help them overcome employment barriers and achieve sustainable employment.
  • Work closely with clients to identify their skills, strengths, and career aspirations and develop a tailored support plan to help them achieve their goals.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, employers, and other stakeholders to facilitate job placements and support clients in their career development.
  • Conduct regular progress reviews with clients to monitor their progress and provide ongoing support and guidance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop new approaches to support clients.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of employment barriers and the skills and strategies required to overcome them.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of autonomy and accountability.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong IT skills, with experience of using databases and other software systems.
