About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. As a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our pharmacy department.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients across various specialties, including acute medicine, critical care, and haematology/oncology.
- Develop and implement clinical pharmacy programs to improve patient outcomes and optimize medication use.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures.
- Participate in audit and practice research to improve pharmacy services and patient care.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Masters degree in Pharmacy (MPharm).
- Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Has successfully completed a minimum of one year of a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy and studying/prepared to study for Postgraduate Clinical Pharmacy Diploma / MSc or equivalent Qualification or evidence of equivalent experience or training.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Completed a Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent advanced practice supported by training.
- Member of the RPSGB.
- Member of the UKCPA.
