Job Overview

The Best Connection - Northampton is seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 driver to join our team for national deliveries. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for transporting palletised goods across the country, ensuring timely and safe delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a Class 1 vehicle for national deliveries, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload palletised goods at designated locations, taking care to secure the cargo.
  • Complete delivery paperwork accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with dispatchers to plan and optimize delivery routes.
  • Participate in regular vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 driver's license.
  • Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ability to lift and move palletised goods.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings and afternoons.
