Job Title: Groundworks and Civils Project Manager

Clearfield Recruitment is currently working with a well-established Groundworks and Civils Contractor operating in Suffolk and the East Anglia region to find a skilled Groundworks and Civils Project Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project documentation, working to best practice and company standards, attending and representing the company at project meetings, and working alongside the operational and commercial teams to maximise opportunities and minimise risks to achieve the best possible project costs.

They will also engage with clients to understand their needs, resolve queries, provide confidence in the company approach, and confirm understanding of construction methods, and ensure proper handover of the projects to the client in accordance with company standards and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have groundworks experience, excellent leadership skills, and a professional nature. They must have SMSTS or IOSH Equivalent Health and Safety Certification, competency in the use of Microsoft Project or similar Programming Software, as well as the wider Office suite. Supplementary qualifications such as Temporary Works Coordinator, Appointed Person, Streetworks Supervisor, and the like would be beneficial, but the right candidate training can be provided.
