Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Splunk Engineer to enhance our Cyber Security Operations team within the Aerospace, Defence, and Security sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring the robustness of our security technology framework while collaborating with SOC Analysts to deliver top-tier Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize the health of the security technology stack.
- Provide expert support during security incidents across various clients.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in the Cyber Defence Feedback Loop, focusing on Situational Awareness, Detection Development, Security Monitoring, and Incident Management.
- Utilize strong analytical skills to address vendor-related and security issues effectively.

Technical Requirements:
- Extensive experience with Splunk and other SIEM tools.
- A solid networking background to troubleshoot security and SIEM technologies in a dynamic SOC environment.
- Must hold relevant certifications, such as Splunk Cloud Certified Admin or Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin.

Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with AWS and Azure platforms, including appropriate certifications.
- Experience in security solution design tailored to customer requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Azure Sentinel or IBM QRadar is advantageous.

Work Environment:
This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in the office and two days remote work. Candidates must be eligible for SC clearance and willing to undergo DV and NPPV2 processes.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary up to £65K.
- £5,400 car allowance.
