Job Description

Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer to join our team at Consortium Professional Recruitment. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes, and for implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Support Finished Goods Audit processes to ensure quality and consistency
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures
  • Identify and resolve workflow and production issues
  • Work with cross-functional teams to support New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and 8D investigations
  • Create training materials and operating manuals for new processes and procedures
  • Participate in Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) workshops
  • Develop Quality Control Plans

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with lean tools, 6 Sigma, or Automotive improvement techniques
  • Strong team-working skills, with the ability to work across departments
  • Strong knowledge of ISO systems
  • Demonstrable background in manufacturing businesses with ongoing NPI considerations
  • Experience in supporting the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives
  • A can-do approach, with the ability to work independently
