Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer to join our team at Consortium Professional Recruitment. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes, and for implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Support Finished Goods Audit processes to ensure quality and consistency
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures
- Identify and resolve workflow and production issues
- Work with cross-functional teams to support New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and 8D investigations
- Create training materials and operating manuals for new processes and procedures
- Participate in Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) workshops
- Develop Quality Control Plans
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with lean tools, 6 Sigma, or Automotive improvement techniques
- Strong team-working skills, with the ability to work across departments
- Strong knowledge of ISO systems
- Demonstrable background in manufacturing businesses with ongoing NPI considerations
- Experience in supporting the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives
- A can-do approach, with the ability to work independently
