Position Overview

  • We are seeking a skilled solicitor to become a vital part of our accomplished Civil Law division, based in a regional office.
  • The role involves managing a diverse caseload across various civil litigation areas, particularly focusing on Family Law matters such as custody, separation, divorce, and children's referrals. Additional responsibilities may include representation in Employment and Mental Health tribunals, Guardianship applications, Interdict actions, Simple procedure cases, and debt recovery.
  • This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of your own caseload while also providing support to senior partners.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) is required.
  • Previous exposure to civil sheriff court proceedings is preferred.
  • We are looking for a proactive solicitor with a strong analytical mindset and a professional demeanor.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a hardworking, enthusiastic, and collaborative spirit, complemented by outstanding client service abilities.
  • Building rapport with clients and colleagues is essential, and you should be able to instill confidence through your expertise and professionalism.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills are crucial, along with the capacity to approach sensitive matters with empathy and understanding.
