CNC Milling Programmer - Aerospace

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Programmer to join our team in Bridgwater. As a CNC Milling Programmer, you will be responsible for creating programs for CNC machines, specifying tooling and work holding systems, and conducting in-process inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create programs for CNC machines using CAD/CAM packages.
  2. Specify/select the correct tooling and work holding systems for manufacturing parts.
  3. Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently.
  4. Load programs onto machines and select defined tooling and set offsets.
  5. Conduct in-process inspections of parts being produced.
  6. Use SFDC to clock on and off jobs accurately.
  7. Suggest improvements to programs and tooling to increase productivity and quality.
  8. Train and mentor trainee setter/operators, operators, and apprentices.
  9. Use best practices to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality of programs.

About You: To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 5 years' experience in programming Fanuc CNC/Siemens Controls and setting and operating CNC Mills. You must have a reliable commute to work and live within a commutable distance to M-CNC Ltd.
