Job Title: Community Diagnostic Centre Lead Radiographer

About the Role:

Cobalt is seeking an experienced radiographer to lead and deliver high-quality CT and MRI services at our Quayside Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of imaging services, promoting a culture of excellence, and contributing to the development of our staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the radiography team at the Quayside CDC, ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging services and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Develop and implement quality control programs, ensuring the safe and efficient use of imaging equipment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
  • Contribute to the development of staff and students, promoting a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including IRMER and ISO accreditations.
  • Participate in on-call rota for breakdowns and staffing at the location.

Requirements:

  • Experience in radiography, with a strong background in CT and MRI scanning.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, including IRMER and ISO accreditations.
