We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager to join our team at Wood PLC. As a key member of our Projects business unit, you will be responsible for leading construction involvement during FEED and EPCm projects, providing construction input to constructability, organisation, and site set-up.
Key Responsibilities- Lead construction involvement during FEED and EPCm projects, providing construction input to constructability, organisation, and site set-up.
- Represent and lead Wood OU on the construction site, organising, administering, and controlling site activities within a defined construction area.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including CDM Regulations, The Factories Act, and Health and Safety at Work Act.
- Implement Wood OU policies and procedures, ensuring that those requirements relating to site operations are implemented on behalf of and under the direction of the Resident Site Manager.
- Ensure that the project achieves its objectives in respect of Health, Safety, Security, Environment (HSSE), quality, cost, and schedule within a defined construction area.
- Agree, establish, and maintain effective communication and coordination between construction site and home office task force/departments.
- Promote Wood OU by demonstrating professionalism and efficiency, establishing credible client and local contact working relationships.
- Meaningful and interesting projects delivered to leaders of industry across the energy transition, emerging, and conventional energy sectors.
