Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the Commercial Team in delivering effective quantity surveying services alongside fellow team members. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial and contractual oversight on all contracts managed within the London Division. The position is primarily office and project-based, with the option for occasional remote work.

Role Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be part of the Construction London & Home Counties team, where your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering accurate financial reporting to achieve optimal commercial outcomes
  • Managing subcontractor supplier accounts, ensuring financial and contractual compliance to secure full entitlements
  • Identifying and achieving business forecasts in terms of turnover and margin
  • Placing subcontract orders in line with main contracts and overseeing subcontractor accounts to ensure timely and accurate payments
  • Monitoring subcontractor performance against project timelines
  • Ensuring all applications for payment and invoices are completed and submitted to meet payment terms and cash flow targets
  • Finalizing project finances, ensuring all costs and values are accurately recorded in accordance with financial schedules

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a reputable main contractor
  • Demonstrated ability to manage packages valued at £10 million or more
  • Relevant construction qualifications
