Key Responsibilities
As the Housing Scheme Coordinator, you will oversee a sheltered housing scheme for seniors, ensuring that the administration, management, and upkeep of the facility align with established standards and protocols. Your role will involve:
- Advocating for our residents by upholding their rights as tenants and monitoring their wellbeing to identify when additional assistance is necessary, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
- Ensuring the safety and security of the premises while maintaining full compliance with legal obligations.
- Managing potential revenue loss by tracking, reporting, and addressing vacancies and arrears to optimize income.
- Maintaining an effective administrative system that meets the requirements set by SAHA for documentation and reporting, adhering to statutory or regulatory standards.
- Building and sustaining positive relationships with external partners to facilitate referrals, support, and payments, thereby enhancing the professional image of the organization.
- Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of individuals and families who seek our assistance.
- Fulfilling health and safety responsibilities relevant to your role, as outlined in the Health & Safety Policy.
