Lead PHP Developer Opportunity

Opus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Lead PHP Developer to join their development team in Crawley. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for building a product used by the public daily and bringing part of the codebase up to date with the most modern versions of Laravel.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Full Stack Developer who wants to progress their career into a lead role. You will have the chance to take product ownership, get exposure across the wider business, and take charge of the existing more junior team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years' experience with Laravel
  • 5+ years' experience in JavaScript (ideally React but Vue and Angular is fine too)
  • Design and develop new features in a product
  • Develop high-quality, well-tested, scalable code with a focus on re-use
  • Use Test Driven Development techniques

The salary for this role is up to £70,000, and you will need to be in the Crawley office 2-3 days a week, with some flexibility for the right person.
