Mobile Plant Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team in the Midlands and North Scotland area. As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing construction and recycling plant equipment across the Yorkshire and North East areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and repair plant equipment, including diggers, dumpers, excavators, and static plant such as conveyors.
- Carry out breakdown, service, and repairs to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Travel to various locations, including Scotland and the West Midlands, to perform maintenance and repairs.
- Previous experience working as a Mobile Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter, Plant Technician, or Plant Mechanic.
- Knowledge of plant machinery, including excavators, diggers, rollers, dumpers, and static plant/conveyors.
- NVQ, City and Guilds qualification in plant maintenance or mechanical engineering, apprenticeship, or equivalent.
- Full UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points.
- Competitive hourly rate of £16.00 to £17.50.
- Overtime at an additional rate after 42.5 hours.
- 21 days holiday + bank holidays.
- Transit van provided.
