We are seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Manager to lead our Electrical Function within our Skegness resort. As a key member of our Resorts Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of our Electrical Function, delivering exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of electrical professionals to deliver exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the electrical team, including routine maintenance, servicing, and repairing of domestic, commercial, and electrical equipment.
- Oversee project works with both team members and subcontractors, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Plan and operate the rota system, including on-call systems, and be available for call-outs as required.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance, engagement, and development, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety policies and procedures, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor and report on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external service providers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
We are looking for an experienced electrical leader who can inspire and motivate their team to deliver exceptional results. You will have a proven track record of leading teams, with experience in training, coaching, and developing staff. You will be confident in your ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and make sound decisions.
You will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and equipment, with experience in fault-finding and installation works. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, guests, and external partners.
