Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Relief Chef to join our team at WSH Group. As a Relief Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes to the highest standards, ensuring food safety and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head chef, ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times.
  • Station Management: Oversee the production of all dishes assigned to your station and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high-quality standards for all dishes, ensuring presentation and taste are considered at all times.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with all team members and assist/support colleagues as needed.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the head chef to develop and taste new recipes, providing suggestions for improvement or innovation.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including your designated area, and ensure equipment is in good working order.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience working in a similar role, such as a Commis Chef.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Food Safety: Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
