About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Headteacher to join our team at Hillingdon Manor School. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational vision and direction of our school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the school's educational programs and services.
    • Develop and implement effective policies and procedures to ensure high-quality education and care for our students.
  • Teaching and Learning
    • Lead and manage the development of curriculum and instructional programs that meet the needs of our students.
    • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure high-quality teaching and learning practices.
  • Safeguarding and Wellbeing
    • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students, staff, and visitors to the school.
    • Develop and implement effective safeguarding policies and procedures to prevent harm and promote positive outcomes.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Build and maintain effective relationships with parents, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
    • Work closely with the leadership team to ensure effective communication and collaboration across the school.
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • Formal teaching qualification and QTS/QTLS.
  • Experience
    • Proven experience in a senior leadership role in a school or educational setting.
    • Experience in working with students with autism and complex needs.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve shared goals.
