Job Description

Role: MDM Architect

Location: Global

Type of Hire: Full-time

Supports data quality improvement plans through score carding and workflow.

Ensures effective use of MDM, Data Governance technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing customer expectations for an MDM solution.
  • Gathering functional and technical requirements as inputs into the overall solution design.
  • Estimating and planning work for all phases of the software implementation lifecycle.
  • Participating in process and functional design activities, carrying out application design, build, test, and deploy activities for Informatica MDM and all integrating applications.
  • Planning, developing, executing data conversion routines.
  • Driving user acceptance test planning, execution and completion of the project on time.
  • Excellent analysis, debugging and troubleshooting skills, and persistence in problem-solving.
  • Data governance, data quality, data integration, data analytics, and data security must be a collaborative effort involving all stakeholders across the organization including IT, business, and legal teams working together to establish data security.
  • Presenting information through reports and visualization.
  • Experience in distributed data processing.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Flexibility to support customers across geographies and time zones.
  • Ensures consistency of process and usage, and champions best practices in data management.
  • Oversees data accuracy processes, goals and assessment.
  • Ensures resolution of data conflicts between systems and within systems' data universe.
  • Works with internal stakeholders to develop strategies for leveraging data to gain a deeper insight into the business, impact on international education, and the company's story.
  • Ensures rigorous adherence to company policies regarding PII protection and data security.
  • Oversees data expiry practices and establishes and implements processes for data archival and expiry.
  • Member of the Knowledge Management team.
  • Tools - Informatica MDM, Prior experience with Product / Customer master data management.
