**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as the Head of Solutions Development and Delivery. As a key member of our IT Directorate, you will be responsible for leading the planning, delivery, and transition to support (BAU) of IT change across the organisation.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead the team responsible for delivering IT change for the SRA
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of IT and other members of the IT Leadership Team to execute the vision and strategy for our Solutions Development and Delivery function
  • Drive initiatives to optimise, increase efficiency, and enhance quality
  • Select the most appropriate project management methods to meet the unique demands of each project
  • Monitor and control resources, revenue, and capital costs
  • Oversee the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and foster a positive working environment within your team

**What We Are Looking For**

  • Proven leader of project and IT technical teams
  • Experience with technology change delivery across multiple inter-dependent products using both waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Strong client, project sponsor, supplier and stakeholder relationship skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/workstreams concurrently
  • Ability to resolve conflict and to deal with competing priorities
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver, a confident decision maker, comfortable with accountability at a senior level
