A newly created position for a Payroll & Finance Officer has been established to join the busy account teams in an instrumental role. This position is based in the Dorking area of Surrey and offers a salary of £38,000 - £42,000.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage weekly and monthly tasks independently, utilizing a wide range of generalist accounts skills.
- Experience with payroll, including monthly payroll, sales commission calculations, overtime and on-call calculations, P45 and P46 as required, preparation of P11D's and P60's, exporting salary BACS payments, and calculating Class 1A National Insurance contributions.
- Accounts management, including monthly supplier payment runs, month-end reporting, management accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, weekly bank reconciliation, and credit control.
- An experienced Payroll & Finance Officer, Accountant, or Assistant Accountant with solid payroll skills.
- Ability to work alongside the Finance Director, receiving training and support where needed.
This role will be predominantly office-based (5 days per week for the probation period with some flexibility afterwards). If you are looking for a new challenge, please send your CV immediately.
