About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized care and support to service users, including medication administration, personal care, and clinical interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to service users, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy environment, adhering to infection control and health and safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with service users, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • 3 months' previous care experience, preferably in a complex care setting.
  • Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience working with spinal injury management, catheter care, cough assist, and awareness of autonomic dysreflexia.
