Court of Protection Solicitor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Court of Protection Solicitor to join our team at eNL Legal Recruitment. As a Court of Protection Solicitor, you will be responsible for assisting experienced Solicitors with clients, preparing applications to the Court of Protection for the appointment of deputies, responding to telephone enquiries from clients, and supporting daily financial administration and preparing annual deputyship reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing applications to the Court of Protection for the appointment of deputies
  • Responding to telephone enquiries from clients
  • Supporting daily financial administration
  • Preparing annual deputyship reports

Requirements:

  • Experience of dealing with Financial Affairs Deputyships, Court of Protection for Property and Finance sector
  • Strong understanding of the Mental Capacity Act 2005, the Mental Capacity Code of Practice, and Court of Protection Rules
  • Sympathetic approach and ability to provide an excellent service to clients
