Experienced Teaching Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as Level 3 Teaching Assistants, providing SEND support to children aged 3 to 19 years across our schools in Rotherham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting individuals with barriers to learning, either 1:1 or as classroom support, to help them overcome social barriers and achieve their full potential.
- Managing behaviour, supporting completion of assigned work, and helping students socialise and develop essential life skills.
- Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning plans.
- Providing care and support to students with profound and multiple learning difficulties, as required.
Requirements:
- Background in education or a passion for learning and development.
- Experience working with children, either personally or professionally.
- Experience managing challenging behaviour and developing strategies to support students.
- Flexibility to travel to different school settings, as required.
- Background in care is desirable, but not essential.
