Orthodontic Specialist

Job Summary:

NHS Fife is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthodontic Specialist to join our team. As a Consultant in Orthodontics, you will play a key role in providing complex and multidisciplinary orthodontic treatment and orthognathic care to patients in Fife.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality orthodontic treatment and care to patients, working closely with other specialists and healthcare professionals.
• Participate in the teaching and training of Specialty Registrars (StRs) and other healthcare professionals.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of orthodontic services and policies within NHS Fife.
• Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless patient care and treatment.

Requirements:

• Full registration with the United Kingdom General Dental Council.
• On the GDC Specialist List for Orthodontics.
• Hold the ISFE in orthodontics or be within 6 months of completing training at the time of application.
• Non-UK candidates must have confirmation from the GDC that they have been accepted onto the Orthodontics specialist list at the time of application.
