- Monitor work progress to ensure compliance with standards and health, safety, and environmental regulations, providing regular updates.
- Evaluate subcontractor proposals and seek clarifications as needed.
- Review subcontractor work to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Provide regular progress reports.
- Support the Project Manager in daily project management and collaborate with team members to resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain the site work program and ensure necessary inputs are provided to the planning team.
- Ensure compliance with all company obligations as Principal Contractor under relevant legislation.
- Ensure site welfare arrangements meet industry standards.
- Identify additional work requirements beyond the contract and manage the preparation of necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications include C&G/ONC/HND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and IOSH Managing Safely certification.

- Familiarity with Mechanical & Electrical construction and installation techniques.
- Experience in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of substation equipment.
- Understanding of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations and the roles of Principal Contractor and Contractor.
- Leadership experience in site construction.
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations and Principal Contractor responsibilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of HSE in construction.
- Experience in budget management and construction program planning.
