Position Overview:

Role Responsibilities:

The CNC Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in enhancing the operational efficiency of the engineering department. Key responsibilities include:
  • Addressing machine and equipment breakdowns to support operational functions.
  • Implementing preventative maintenance strategies to enhance the reliability of critical machinery.

Essential Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • Experience in maintenance support within a dynamic manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated mechanical and electrical maintenance expertise in a shift-based environment.
  • Familiarity with CNC machining centers, particularly Siemens and Fanuc systems.
  • Proven knowledge of AC/DC servo drives.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems in a multi-skilled context.
  • A formal qualification or equivalent in the maintenance field.
  • 18th Edition wiring regulations certification.
  • Experience with CNC machining centers such as Haas, Heidenhain, or Mazak.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • A willingness to share knowledge and support team development.
  • The ability to manage complexity and meet objectives within tight deadlines.
  • A collaborative approach to working with various departments and understanding maintenance support needs.
  • A commitment to contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • A proactive attitude towards promoting high standards of work and health and safety compliance.
