Responsibilities:

You will be tasked with analyzing refrigeration systems using advanced software technology, monitoring recurring issues, and developing strategies to mitigate risks and minimize future problems. Your efforts will contribute to a safer and more efficient operational model.

In addition to supporting our Air Conditioning and MER PPM teams, you will have the opportunity to align strategies across departments, fostering greater collaboration with the Refrigeration team. This role allows you to showcase your expertise while mentoring and developing others.

Qualifications:

  • C&G Fgas 2079 certification
  • Valid UK driving license
  • Recognized apprenticeship or qualification in refrigeration
  • Experience with CO2 systems or relevant qualifications
  • Familiarity with CO2 Pack systems, including Green & Cool, SCM, Advansor
  • Hydrocarbon qualification – CARE (desirable)

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Attention to detail in analyzing technical and work order data
  • Proven track record of achieving first fix or implementing temporary solutions to maximize equipment uptime
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with planning teams
  • Exceptional written communication skills for diverse audiences
  • Strong IT skills for programming CO2 controls
  • Extensive experience in retail or industrial refrigeration
  • Commercial awareness to reduce repeat failures

Additional Information:

This position includes an on-call requirement of 1 in 4.
