About the Role:

Holt Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced MOT Tester to join our client's busy Service Department in Wilmslow. As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for performing MOT tests on vehicles in accordance with the relevant regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect vehicles for safety and compliance with emissions standards
  • Identify and report any defects or issues found during the testing process
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area

Requirements:

  • Valid MOT Tester license
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
  • Able to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues

Working Hours and Location:

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm, with Saturday 1 in 3 paid at overtime. The role is based in Wilmslow.
