We are in search of a proficient Automation Maintenance Technician to join our workforce at Royal Mail Group. In this position, you will be instrumental in maintaining the operational efficiency of our automated systems, with an attractive salary package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, and corrective measures
  • Engage in continuous enhancement initiatives
  • Assist the Engineering department and fulfill necessary reporting and data management tasks
  • Diagnose and resolve automation malfunctions to support operational requirements
  • Collaborate with operational partners to improve automation performance
  • Lead initiatives for Continuous Improvement of machinery within the Mail Centre
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively to meet objectives

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a seasoned engineer with credentials in electrical and mechanical disciplines. You should possess practical experience in the upkeep of automation machinery, including PLC systems, and demonstrate effective communication abilities. A valid UK driving license is necessary for occasional travel to various locations.
