MEP Manager Job Description

As a MEP Manager at Macstaff, you will be responsible for overseeing the Mechanical Electrical Plumbing aspects of high-end residential and heritage construction/restoration projects. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of these complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage MEP sub-contractors to ensure timely and accurate installation
  • Review tender packages to ensure scope gaps are identified and addressed
  • Arrange and chair regular sub-contractor progress meetings and design review meetings
  • Work closely with project and site management teams to develop short-term look-ahead programmes and identify areas of risk
  • Liaise with the Quality Manager to meet the general requirements of the project quality plan
Requirements:
  • Experience as a client-facing MEP Project Manager, including pre-construction phase
  • Experience working within the heritage/restoration sector
  • Good time management and ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Familiarity with construction planning (programming) process and ability to interpret a programme
