About the Role

Latcom Plc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Supervisor to join our field team. As a Project Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing teams of seasoned archaeologists and trainees on a range of projects across the UK, with a focus on the East Midlands and East Anglia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct commercial fieldwork initiatives, including watching briefs and short evaluations
  • Write grey literature reports and ensure timely submission
  • Manage teams of archaeologists and trainees, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure project success and meet client expectations
Requirements
  • Proven experience in field archaeology, with a strong understanding of British archaeology across all eras
  • Familiarity with post-excavation reporting and analysis, including GIS software
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Proficient computer skills, including proficiency with GIS software
  • Prior experience managing employees and leading teams
