About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Ably Resources in Edinburgh.

The ideal candidate will have experience in building services, with a strong track record of managing large-scale projects from concept to completion. They will be responsible for overseeing 1-2 major projects simultaneously, ensuring seamless project execution, and delivering top-quality outcomes that meet client expectations.

The successful candidate will be a technical design leader with excellent client liaison skills, able to excel in a fast-paced environment and make informed decisions to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage large-scale building services projects from concept to completion
  • Oversee 1-2 major projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes
  • Develop and implement technical design solutions that meet client requirements
  • Lead client liaison efforts, ensuring effective communication and project stakeholder management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and deliver results

  • Proven experience in building services, with a strong track record of project delivery
