Your Responsibilities:
In your role as a Legal Assistant, you will undergo a comprehensive training program designed to equip you with essential skills and knowledge. Your responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service. You will assist landlords and letting agents in securing possession of rental properties and recovering outstanding debts. Your daily tasks will involve:
- Drafting and serving possession notices to tenants in England and Wales.
- Preparing claim forms and particulars for possession and debt matters, submitting them to the court.
- Organizing court bundles and coordinating with clients and agents for hearings.
- Assisting Senior Paralegals with defended litigation cases through client communication and instruction gathering.
- Reviewing case files and providing supervised advice to clients regarding case prospects and associated risks.
- Managing incoming correspondence related to client matters, ensuring compliance with court directions and timelines.
- Adhering to all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards while fulfilling additional reasonable requests.
Candidate Profile:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook; familiarity with Adobe Pro is a plus.
- A keen attention to detail for drafting and reviewing documents.
- Strong organizational skills to manage client interactions and case progress efficiently.
- Experience in a regulated environment is advantageous but not mandatory; we value diverse customer service backgrounds.
- Any existing qualifications in law, particularly in civil litigation, landlord & tenant law, or debt recovery, will be beneficial.
