Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Planning Manager to join their west-midlands team. The successful candidate will work under the Planning Directors to progress ongoing sites, assess new planning opportunities, and monitor local plans to identify new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on both residential and employment outline planning applications.
  • Responsible for the submissions for local plan reps and any subsequent appeals.
  • Work on projects varying from small self-build housing sites to larger urban extensions.

Requirements:

  • A relevant planning degree (RTPI or RICS ideal) and eligibility to pursue chartership.
  • Previous experience working in a Planning role, ideally client-side.
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle, or a reliable way of commuting to site visits.
