Executive Chef Manager

We are seeking an experienced School Chef Manager to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Skills and Qualities- Proven knowledge of all kitchen sections, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Excellent culinary skills and ability to produce high-quality food that meets customer expectations.
- Passion for ingredients and creativity in menu development, with a focus on healthy and nutritious options.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and consistently deliver quality work, with a focus on attention to detail and customer satisfaction.
- Experience in various kitchen environments and cuisines, with a strong understanding of food production methods and safety protocols.
- Knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and ability to implement safety protocols in the kitchen.

- Good maths and numeracy skills, with the ability to manage inventory and ordering.
- Effective communication with all team members, including chefs, kitchen staff, and management.

- Supervise kitchen stations and ensure smooth operation, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and kitchen management, with a focus on innovation and creativity.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment at all times, with a focus on HACCP and food safety protocols.
- Ensure food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes, with a focus on customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Assist with inventory management, stocking, and ordering, with a focus on cost control and efficiency.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 or above qualification (dated within the last 3 years), with a strong understanding of food safety protocols.
- Enhanced DBS disclosure (advantageous but not essential), with a focus on maintaining a safe and secure working environment.
