Position Overview

Regional Quality Specialist - ISO 9001:2015

As a key member of the Quality Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001 and API Q1 standards across all Tubular locations within the Steel Business Unit. This role supports the management team while considering local regulations, relevant standards, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise and support management on all quality-related matters.
  • Facilitate communication of quality requirements to regional and global quality managers, particularly in the context of Supply Chain Management, Oil & Gas, and Energy sectors.
  • Oversee the Quality Management System workload for the business unit and its operations.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory quality requirements and manage the Contract Quality Management System.
  • Deliver structured education and training on quality issues to promote best practices within the business unit.
  • Conduct QMS audits, process reviews, inspections, and monitoring activities in collaboration with the regional manager.
  • Plan, execute, and finalize internal, external, and third-party audits.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree or higher education focused on Quality.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, manufacturing, or process industries, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
  • Proficiency in maintaining Quality Management Systems in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in Quality Management System auditing, including internal, external, and third-party audits.
  • Expertise in Quality Assurance Standards, Systems, and Procedures.
  • Experience in supplier evaluation related to Quality Management Systems.
  • Ability to develop and present training materials on various roles and processes.
  • Experience representing the organization in client meetings regarding quality matters.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry in a quality-focused role.
  • Familiarity with international logistics, particularly in Marine and Trucking standards.
  • Proficiency in Document Management Systems and MS Office applications (including MS Teams, Visio, etc.).
  • Project management experience.
