About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Training Instructor to join our team at the Volkswagen Group National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes. As a Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to our technicians, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver core technical and project-based training programs, utilizing a range of mediums including attended classroom and workshop sessions, virtual classroom, and film/live broadcasts.
- Design and create new training materials, including model launch courses, and maintain current materials to ensure they remain up-to-date.
- Attend Volkswagen Factory branded events and product launches to stay informed about the latest developments.
Requirements
- Relevant technical qualification, such as City and Guilds 1, 2, 3, or a National crafts certificate.
- Strong technical knowledge, particularly in vehicle electrics and vehicle diagnosis.
- Passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
