About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at DFDS UK & Ireland. As a Class 1 Driver, you will play a critical role in transporting fresh and frozen produce to distribution centers and wholesaler outlets in a timely and safe manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive refrigerated trucks to transport perishable goods to various destinations
  • Ensure all products are properly loaded, secured, and maintained at the appropriate temperature during transit
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues that may arise
Requirements
  • Current HGV Class 1 Licence
  • CPC and DIGI card
  • Experience in fridge work
  • Good knowledge of drivers' hours regulations
