About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Air Quality Specialist to join our team at Penguin Recruitment. As a key member of our environmental consulting team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on air quality matters to our clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct measurement surveys and reporting to assess air quality levels.
  2. Develop and implement atmospheric dispersion models to predict air quality impacts.
  3. Collate baseline data to inform air quality assessments.
  4. Assess air quality for various types of projects, including land and property development, renewable energy, mineral extraction, and waste management.
  5. Undertake air quality modeling and assessment works from project inception to completion.
  6. Liaise with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
  7. Prepare high-quality reports and proposals for environmental statements.
  8. Conduct desk-based studies to assess local air quality impacts.
  9. Produce air quality reports and proposals for environmental statements.
  10. Conduct air quality impact assessments and monitoring programs.
  11. Perform data manipulation and GIS work using Excel.
  12. Write technical reports and proposals.
  13. Travel to various sites to conduct air quality assessments.
Requirements
  1. MSc in a relevant environmental science.
  2. Background in air quality.
  3. Self-motivated and able to learn quickly.
  4. Good communication and teamwork skills.
  5. Commercially aware and able to work independently.
  6. Advanced numerical skills.
