React Native Engineer

We are seeking a talented React Native Engineer to join our fast-growing and innovative fintech organisation. The position is ideal for a React Native Engineer who wants to remain hands-on and play a critical role in advancing the mobile platform.

About the Role

You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and software engineers to create a seamless, user-centric mobile experience for both iOS and Android platforms. The role offers excellent personal growth opportunities in a high-impact, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement new features that will enhance the user experience of a unique SaaS platform.
  • Optimise performance, integrate with backend services, and ensure high-quality code delivery.
  • Develop and implement new features in our React Native mobile application for iOS and Android, collaborating with product managers and designers to translate requirements into scalable and maintainable code.
  • Work closely with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless data flow between the mobile app and backend services.
  • Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure the app is stable and performs well.
  • Implement pixel-perfect UI designs, ensuring the best possible user experience.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a React Native Engineer with 3+ years of mobile development experience in React Native, working on both iOS and Android apps.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and mobile development frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps and writing clean, maintainable code.
  • Strong experience working in an agile environment (Scrum/Kanban).
Bonus Points
  • Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks like Jest or Detox.
  • Experience with cloud services and mobile deployment pipelines.
