Physiotherapist - Specialist Musculoskeletal and Sports Injury Rehabilitation

Job Summary:

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Specialist Musculoskeletal and Sports Injury Rehabilitation professional. As a Clinical Physiotherapy Lead, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions.

Main Responsibilities:

• To deliver specialist muscular-skeletal/sports and training injury rehabilitation services to patients.
• To act as Clinical Specialist within Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) clinics, providing expert advice and guidance to other healthcare professionals.
• To act as clinical physiotherapy lead for specialist area of work, e.g. sports and training injuries, biomechanics, and training other staff in specialist area.
• To perform highly skilled physiotherapeutic assessments of patients referred by Consultants and Medical Officers (MO) with diverse presentations and complex and chronic physical and psychological conditions and sports and training injuries.
• To use clinical reasoning skills to provide an accurate clinical diagnosis and request investigations such as x-rays and scans.
• To use the results of investigations to assist clinical diagnosis and appropriate management of patients, referring to other medical and health care professionals as appropriate.
• To assess, develop, and implement physiotherapy treatment for specialist caseload, and to provide advice in specialist field.
• To formulate, develop, and deliver a specialized individualized treatment program based upon evidence-based practice, manual assessment, and appropriate clinical reasoning.
• To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
• To maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care and treatment.
• To stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in physiotherapy and sports injury rehabilitation.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy.
• Recent UK experience within MSK physiotherapy.
• Registered with the HCPC as a physiotherapist to work in the UK.
• NHS experience would be advantageous but not essential.
