We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Branch Assistant to join our team at our Penrith branch. As a key member of our wholesale branch, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to trade professionals and members of the public on our Trade Counter.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service on the Trade Counter, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Take ownership of shop displays to highlight promotions and store offers, ensuring a visually appealing and engaging customer experience.
- Sell products on the Trade Counter, call customers to build rapport and drive customer loyalty, and pop into the warehouse to pick and pack items to ensure customer orders are completed on time.
- Must hold a valid, in-date full UK driver's license.
- Must be over 21 with no more than 3 points on their license.
- Customer-focused with experience of working in a customer-facing role.
- Proactive approach and a natural flair for building relationships with customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced role, while maintaining a consistent eye for detail.
- A flexible approach and an ability to work under pressure.
- Embracing of change and new technologies.
- Electrical product knowledge is advantageous.
- Great salary + performance-based bonus scheme.
- Contracted to 42.5 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday shifts between 07:00 and 17:00.
- 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) + birthday day off.
