Job Summary:

The VP eFX Trading role is a dynamic position that requires a strong understanding of FX market microstructure and technical skills to manage and run the electronic trading platform. As a key member of the global FX group, you will work closely with multiple teams to advance TD's electronic FX offering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electronic Risk Management: Manage the electronic risk book to ensure optimal risk exposure and minimize potential losses.
  • Data Analytics: Perform data analytics to analyze profitability and performance of eFX business, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with the business and quant teams to develop new analytics tools and strategies to increase profitability and volumes of electronic business.
  • Platform Maintenance: Work with technical support to resolve any potential issues with the eFX trading platform, ensuring seamless execution and minimal downtime.
  • Client Onboarding: Coordinate with internal teams to onboard new clients and implement new business initiatives, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Liaison Role: Serve as a liaison between the electronic FX desk and the broader FX business, including sales, trading, technology, risk management groups, and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, including a good understanding of Python programming and experience with kdb/q.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrated strong business analysis skills, problem-solving skills, and initiative, with a strong understanding of FX market microstructure.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Education: Technical degree preferred (engineering, computer science, stats, or related degree).
