Position Summary:
We are currently in search of a proficient and dedicated Fitter to join our team, providing essential support to the gearbox repair division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the disassembly and assembly of various industrial gearboxes, pumps, fans, blowers, and motors associated with industrial rotating machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
The Fitter will be tasked with the following duties:

  • Engaging in daily workshop operations with a focus on quality, health & safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Dismantling a variety of gearboxes and generating detailed inspection reports for management review.
  • Building, disassembling, and fitting pumps, fans, blowers, and motors in relation to industrial rotating equipment.
  • Accurately assembling gearboxes to ensure readiness for installation.
  • Interpreting engineering documentation, including technical drawings and computer-generated programs.
  • Working independently with minimal supervision while ensuring the quality and precision of work.
  • Proactively identifying solutions to challenges and suggesting improvements to operational processes.
  • Adhering to established work practices and procedures.
  • Responding effectively to emergency situations as they arise.
