About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Active Care Group, a pioneering national provider of complex care services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, client-centered care to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessments, advice, and treatment to clients with life-changing catastrophic injuries.
  • Maintain a small independent caseload, providing Occupational Therapy assessment and therapy for patients with complex rehabilitation needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Engage with solicitors and case managers to monitor and track client progress and outcomes.
  • Provide supervision, support, and training to junior team members, Therapy Assistants, and students as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and collect activity data/statistics in accordance with company policy.
  • Ensure practice is evidence-based and in line with national clinical standards, adhering to HCPC professional practice.
  • Participate in research and/or audit activity as directed by the Senior Occupational Therapist.
Requirements
  • Recognized qualification as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Current registration with HCPC as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working within a Neurological Care and Rehabilitation setting is highly desirable.
